Mispronouncing words in another language can make Americans blush, especially if they are tourists trying to blend in with their vacation surroundings. Rosetta Stone is the key to learning all the nuances of every language and having an awkwardness-free conversation with any local.

The Slang App

To minimize the tourist effect, we created an app to help visitors practice their Spanish before traveling. The Slang App includes a slang chat room and an expression translator that teaches slang and common phrases depending on the selected destination. Every time the user goes to the Slang room and teaches people the meaning of Spanish nuances, he or she will be rated. Like Uber, they get scored through stars. Every month the user can be rated as "Almost local", "Resident", "Tourist" or "Visa is denied" if his job practicing his or her Spanish is not very good.
